Keith Howard was born and grew up in Wetumpka, Alabama. Always wanting to practice law, Keith graduated from the University of Alabama and entered their School of Law soon after. He received his degree in 1981 and returned to Wetumpka to practice at his father’s firm, with his brother, G. Houston Howard II.
Since obtaining his law degree, Keith has gained a reputation for passionately and aggressively representing his clients. Known as a “small town lawyer,” Keith has successfully represented vastly different clientele, from the smallest speeding violation, parents fighting for custody of their children, the emotional times associated with divorce, to people facing charges of capital murder.
Keith is privileged to have served as Wetumpka’s City Attorney under four former mayors: Marion Sanford, Alma Leak, Bill Sahlie, and Jo Glenn, where he also served as City Prosecutor. Currently, Keith is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, Elmore County Bar Association (Former President), and Montgomery Bar Association.
